Dew of the Desert

I promise this is not a “how to wear white in summer” post.  The topic here is texture and shape. I love this little dress from Anthropologie because of the contrast between the full retro skirt and the fitted  bodice. Add a hefty necklace and you get a little “Like a Virgin” Madonna-esque feel but more demure and romantic.

The patchwork material makes the dress stand out through contrasting weave patterns and a bit of sparkle.

I added a bit of color with the sandals which have contrasting crochet weaving on the platform.
