Dew of the Desert

Remember our antique rocking chair with the broken seat?

It has finally been outfitted with the new cushion and it is now ready to receive lounging guests!

Here are a few shots of the work-in-progress.

After measuring and cutting the foam to the size of the seat, I glued the two together and added the batting.

Then it was just a matter of pinning the fabric, stapling it to the seat and voila!

I rather like the contrast of the stark black and white pattern with the antique woodwork. Another project  successfully completed!
