Dew of the Desert

One of my style icons, the fabulous Anna dello Russo, has said that “gold is the new black“. However, for my job, black is still the new black. Here’s a quick view of a typical work “uniform”.

It’s a pretty basic black & white look and the blazer pulls everything together with its’ polka dot pattern and 70’s cut. I always keep in mind proportions so if I’m doing a longer length on top, the bottom should be tailored to achieve a look that’s long and lean.

For footwear, I wanted something with a bit of an edge to ground the look. With their straps, buckles and studs these sandals are punk perfection!
